Last week, we held our Q1 Hackathon at our Berlin HQ! Five intense days of coding, collaboration, and feature building. Here's a quick look at what we accomplished.
New features and updates
- Tiptap V3: Significant progress, with the
v3.0.0-next.7 branch available for early testing. - Tiptap v2.11.6: Multiple minor improvements released (release notes).
- Docx Import/Export: Major improvements released for smoother document handling.
- AI Suggestions: Added a new feature to help users write faster and smarter.
- Decorations API: Initial version completed to enhance editor functionality.
- Tiptap Cloud: Made notable progress on our new cloud platform and refined the pricing model.
- AWS Marketplace: Advanced integration efforts to list our services on AWS.
- Tiptap AI Agent PoC: Built a new experimental feature exploring AI integration (live demo).
Technical enhancements
- Improved documentation, rigorous testing of new features, and comprehensive release support.
- Enhanced collaboration capabilities, added read-only comments, and introduced server-side content manipulation examples.
- Explored advanced AI vector search features and expanded support for on-premises deployments.
- Developed essential UI React components and significantly improved overall UI/UX.
- Provided ongoing troubleshooting and support for customers and team.
